I couldn't help but wonder about the experiences these inanimate objects had witnessed. I found myself contemplating the stories that this place held. Every nook and cranny seemed to whisper tales of the past as if the inanimate objects were keepers of memories. I imagined the laughter that had echoed through these walls, the tears shed, the fears expressed, and even the wild and untamed thoughts that had found solace within these hallowed grounds.

Reflecting on this, it also dawned on me that, as a current UIUC student, I am also part of this place's ongoing story. However, there will come a day when I transition from an active participant, navigating the emotional rollercoaster of student life, to a mere visitor who returns for a brief encounter. It's a humbling thought, recognizing that even my presence will become a memory woven into the fabric of this place, just like those who came before me.
